Are you a first time visitor to Kyoto or “Kyoto Newbie?” Well, our tour is designed to ease you into Kyoto, and has a little something for everyone. Many clients always ask what’s the difference between Shinto and Buddhism along with a laundry list of other questions about the things they see while in Japan.

While visiting Fushimi Inari and the incredible Tofukuji Zen Temple, we uncover the mystery surrounding Buddhism, Shinto and other Japanese related things. Afterwards, we explore a local market area giving us a chance to try different foods, sweets, tea…

Group tour on foot with maximum of 8 people (minimum of 2 people required per reservation)

12,000 yen/person (includes entrance fees)

Tour Schedule

Duration of Tour: 8:00-12:00 pm

Weekly: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (inquire for other days if you are 4 or more adults 18+) 

Since it’s a morning tour, you’ll have the rest of the day in front of you. There are local restaurants to have lunch and we’re happy to give you suggestions for rest of your day.
