Working at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto Hotel for 2 years, I constantly met guests who were frustrated and disappointed because they ended up only seeing the touristy stuff!! Receiving the Kyoto City Visitor’s Host [京都認定通訳ガイド] guide certification 2016-2021, my mission was to provide engaging tours for clients that wold introduce Kyoto’s history, culture and people. I accumulated lots of experience in planning, designing and leading tours. I also received the Kyoto Prefecture Land Operator license [京都府知事登録旅行サービス手配業第サー746号] in 2017.
What separates me from others?
Using the combination of my experience in the hospitality industry, plus my professional guide experience, I provide services for hotels and tour agents/companies as a Land Operator.
I know what it’s like for your clients to be a “foreigner,” struggling with language issues and not knowing what to see or do in Kyoto, but I’ve gone through the pain of learning the language, getting lost and countless other struggles, so your clients don’t have to!!!!
