Workshop Details

  • Goal of Workshop: Help you become a better guide with a focus on activities designed to improve your English speaking skills and ability to connect with clients
  • Online Workshop: Due to Corona conducted online via Zoom (Link will be sent after payment is made)
  • Activities: Role-plays, pair-work and other activities designed to help you learn practical English for guiding to improve your communication skills and teach you better ways to connect with clients
  • Payment: Bank Transfer or LinePay (you will receive a Zoom link after payment is received)
  • Number of participants: Maximum 10 people
  • Frequency & Length of Workshops: Once a month, 3 hours each time
  • Schedule: Next class Wednesday, August 31

Sure, you can continue to lead tours the same way you did before, but are you confident your clients are really happy with your tours?

Click on “join a workshop” and fill out the form and press send. You will receive a reply with payment instructions. Once you make payment, a Zoom link will be sent to you, allowing you to join the workshop. 

Maximum 10 students per workshop

¥8,000 a person, per workshop. Pay using Linepay or bank transfer 振込

3 hours but with short 5 min. breaks

I’ve actually lived and breathed Japan, encountering tons of personal and professional experiences in Japan over 20 years of living in Nara and Kyoto.

I have worked in the hotel industry for 2 years and possess over 10 years of first-hand guiding experience. This allows me to provide guides unique insights not only into Japanese culture but into the mindset of overseas visitors to help guides create more fun and interesting tours. 

I’m a native English speaker from Canada, yet also understand Japanese language and thinking that helps me teach guides more practical English expressions and more effective ways of communicating to bridge the cultural gap and overcome communication barriers.
