Feel the peace and tranquility wash over you before the crowds appear. At the break of dawn, we retrace the footsteps of visitors past, visiting two of Kyoto’s top destinations, discovering a few off-the-beaten-track places along the way, explaining easy to understand aspects of Kyoto, Buddhism and Shinto.

Type of Tour

Group tour, mainly on foot with maximum of 8 people (minimum of 2 people required per reservation)

Price

12,000 yen/person (guide fee, entrance fees, transportation fees)

Tour Schedule

Duration of Tour: 6:00-11:00 am

Weekly: Tuesday, Thursday (inquire for other days if you are 3 or more) 

Since it’s an early morning tour, you’ll have the rest of the day in front of you. We’re happy to help you plan the rest of your day.

Note: Construction is being done on the roof of the Main Hall with the stage, overlooking Kyoto. Construction will continue until 2020 and alter views of the hall.
